I really love this verse. 13 days ago, my daddy's heart stopped, and I was the one that found him, called 911 and basically saved his life. He's ALIVE...and getting better...a total praise from God..but in those first few days, especially, there was a lot of uncertainty and one of my friend's gave this verse to me :) :) So it really has special meaning now :) :) Love and hugs from the ocean shores of California, Heather :)
WOW I'm sorry to hear about your dad, but praise God you were there to save him! What a story! It's amazing how scripture can comfort us and give us peace in hard times.
Missy, great challenge for yourself this new year! We've been doing (approx.) a verse a week with our 3yr old son since the beginning of the school year. One verse a week is totally doable, and doesn't sound like much, but it really adds up! He's got 28 verses memorized so far!
This week's verse is 1 Thes. 5:18 "Give thanks in all circumstances, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you."
This is a wonderful verse for anyone going through a struggle! Thank you for sharing :)
ReplyDeleteI like your verse for the week! What a great passage to focus on as you bring your little one into the world! :)
ReplyDeleteMy verse for the week is Joshua 1:9
