Easy Chicken'n Dumplins'


I got this recipe from Southern Living and it turned out pretty good! My only advice is to make sure and roll out your dumplins pretty thin because they will almost triple in size. 

Easy Chicken'n Dumplins'

1 (32 oz.) container chicken broth
3 cups shredded cooked chicken
1 can reduced fat cream of chicken soup
1/4 tsp poultry seasoning
1 (10 oz) can jumbo buttermilk biscuits
2 carrots, diced
3 ribs celery

1. Bring first four ingredients to a boil. Cover, and reduce heat to low. Let simmer for 5 minutes then return to a low boil.
2. Place biscuits on a lightly floured surface. Roll or pat to 1/8 in. thickness; cut into 1/2 in. wide strips.
3. Drop strips one at a time into boiling broth. Add carrots and celery. Cover and reduce heat to a simmer for 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
