What's in Season?

October is really an abundant time of year because it's when most of the fall crops are ready for harvest. Fall fruits and vegetables are some of my absolute favorites and I am certainly enjoying what the season has to offer this year. Eating seasonally is so important for our health and for the environment so I thought I'd share a list of what's in season at the moment. I hope this will encourage you to go to your local farmer's market and work some of the seasons abundance into your family's diet!

Note: It's best to check local sources as climates vary to know for sure what's in season where you are.
