It's been awhile since I've participated in What I Wore Wednesday. I decided since I've been talking about dressing more modestly lately it would be good to post a few of my outfits. I know a lot of other women strive to dress modestly and it can be hard to find examples that are feminine and cute. Here is my attempt from this week.
This is what I wore to church on Sunday:
Top: Banana Republic Outlet
Scarf: Wal-Mart
Skirt: Banana Republic (Thrifted)
Boots: Maurice's
And I wore this for a day of errands and cleaning:
Turtle Neck: Target (Thrifted)
Skirt: Old Navy (Thrifted)
Boots: Maurice's
Sorry the pictures aren't that great. They are from my phone. Anyway, I've had a lot of fun wearing mostly skirts the last few weeks. I've found that when I've worn pants I kind of "miss" wearing a skirt. I (and my husband) feel that pants are modest and don't plan on eliminating them from my wardrobe, but I do plan on wearing skirts more since I often feel more feminine and dressed up in them. I hope to post a few examples of longs skirts next week.
Gotta love thrifted finds! I really like those grey tights. Where did you get those?
ReplyDeleteHey, they are leggings and I got them at Walmart a couple years ago. :)
DeleteI love skirts, espcecially long skirts! I've been wearing them a lot more lately. I just find them much more comfortable, plus I like looking girly. : )
ReplyDeleteI love long skirts too. They just flow better with you. :)
DeleteI like that red/white skirt you're wearing! I noticed that you live in AR. My hubby just got a job in AR so I guess we're moving there, LOL.
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed your modest post and especially the skirts! And I love boots! :)
ReplyDeleteI really love the pattern of your skirt! That awesome that you found it 2nd hand!
