Welcome to our home! These trees are the latest addition to our decor and guess what? They're made from two tomato stakes with garland and lights wrapped around. My husband made them all from stuff that was given to us for free!! You know that's how we roll. :)
Here's our "entry table." I have a basket filled with Christmas books for all ages so everyone has something to read when they visit. The crocheted piece is from my grandma and the choir girl was a $2 thrift store find from last year. She's one of my favorite holiday pieces.
Here's our lovely tree! The star was given to us free and the tree skirt was $1 from the thrift store.
I bought several of these "Joy" and "Peace" ornaments last year on clearance. I love them because they're a constant reminder of what kind of attitude we're suppose to have during the holidays.
"And the angel said to them, "Fear not, for behold, I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all the people. For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord."
Luke -2:10:11
"Glory to God in the highest,
and on earth peace among those with whom he is pleased."
-Luke 2:14
Here's the stocking I made for my dog last year. I have plans to make matching ones for me and Mike. We'll see if that happens.
Kitchen table center piece.
I got these angels and wire church from clearance at Hobby Lobby.
I put twigs of holly berries in between all of my pictures on the fireplace mantel. I love the end effect!
Well that's most of our Christmas decor! I hope you've enjoyed it!
Happy Holidays everyone!
