Look What I Bought!

I realize a laundry drying rack may not be very exciting to everyone, but it is to me! I found this at a thrift store for $3! Woohoo! I guess it's exciting because I don't have a clothesline outside yet (maybe next year). Anyway, this drying rack will provide extra room for me this winter to air dry some of our laundry (I already use the shower curtain rod and the front porch to dry some). I realize I won't be able to air dry a whole weeks worth of clothes on this in one day, but it should help to reduce our use of the dryer and prolong the life of our laundry.
That's exciting right?
Plus it folds right up so I can store it in our
laundry closet the rest of the week!

What about you? Do you air dry your clothes?
If so, how do you do it in the winter?

  1. Another great benefit is the wet clothes adding much needed moisture to the air in your home during the winter months when the heater dries out the air so badly :-) I'm getting a couple of them next week. We live in the Texas panhandle, and it's extremely dry here all.the.time. Great find!

  2. Yes thats a great benefit that I didn't think about! My nose has been so dry since we started using the heater this year. Thanks for the comment!

  3. We have 2! I love ours. We don't have a dryer so we use them all the time. You will find they are very handy and hold a lot. We hand shirts on hangers, then hang them all over. The other things go on the racks, lol. Yay!
