Ripple Afghan

This week I'm working on a ripple afghan in neutral colors for our living room. I'm learning to appreciate neutrals, they tend to create a calming and simplistic space, which I love. Anyway, I'm using this Red Heart pattern. It has a vintage feel too it. I love crocheted afghans because you can't hardly buy them in stores so each one is unique and full of love.

Also, I'm reading The Christian Mama's Guide to Parenting A Toddler which has been really good so far! It's full of humor and practical tips. I should have a review up on the blog when I'm finished.

What have you been working on lately?

  4. Your ripple is looking lovely in those colours.
There is nothing quite like a handmade blanket to snuggle under.
    Enjoy hooking it up.

  6. I've been making a ripple out of leftovers. I'm tired of the randomness, and I really want to start one that will match my curtains! Yours is very nice---neutral is good. :-)

  7. The neutral colours in your ripple blanket are so soothing, I've never crocheted a ripple before, yours looks so lovely I think I may have to remedy that.
