  1. Missy, so glad you linked up! I always enjoy coming to your lovely blog and I love your profile pic {your too cute}!

Okay so we have LOTS in common :) I'm a thrift store junkie too! I'm not as much as I was because it takes lots of time and patience and it's not so easy to do with little ones but, whenever I go to visit my family my mom and I try to go!

I don't have cable either, I do redbox or Netflix.

Yay for beanie babies the first TY I got was a cute green frog :).

I danced in high school, we performed pom and funk/jazz.

LOVE Macs :). My husband just bought me my first iMac and I'm well in LOVE!

Thanks for posting 20 things about you... I feel like I know you a little better :)!

  4. I'm a Mac user and think everyone else would be happier if they were too:-)

Also, I love Michele Duggar, and I like Paula Deen's food and cook it regularly. I've been to her restaurant several times. LOL Her personality on her older shows makes me happy. Her newer ones, not so much.

And Alaska is on my bucket list! :-) Well, I don't have a bucket list, but if I did, it would be on it, and I'm an Anne of Green Gables nut, so I've always wanted to go to PEI also. :)

  7. Hi Missy.

I've got a few... I do anything to save a dollar. I'm a foodie too.. Paula's given me some of my favourite recipes (though I have to cut back on the butter! lol!) Hope you get to go to her restaurant... isn't she a character?Up til recently I was hoarding 20+ year old magazines, I had to make the tough decision to get rid of them, they were just taking up too much space :( My car is 15 years old (probably functioning on love and God's grace alone!) and I DO love the florals (my girls tease me and tell me its kinda old -ladyish but I don't care). I have the complete Anne of Green Gables series and 2 of my 4 daughters have read them.

Nice to meet you & God Bless!

Wore the big glasses and high waisted pants until I was 12...then I got contacts and started wearing mini skirts (mini skirts back then went to our knees!):)
    Love swimming
I took jazz dance in high school
(I'm scared of basketballs...I did track instead!)
The Duggars are pretty amazing...we were at a wedding they were also at last summer (a friend of ours married the oldest son of the Holt family)

  9. Lisa Maria - ha I KNOW my car is only functioning on God's grace. It does need some work done, but hopefully it will get me through a few more years!

Joy - Do you live close to the Duggars and the Holts? Because I do. Just wondering.

  10. We used to live a little over an hour from the Duggars (our friends live there and used to be part of the Duggar's home church). We recently moved farther north, so now we'd be several hours from there (we're in Missouri).

It sounds like you and I are not too far away from each other! :)

  11. Nice to meet you. I did wear the high-waisted pants, but I cared. Hated them, but that's what we had. I enjoy watching the Duggars, and I have been to Prince Edward Island many times - I have family all over the Island. You'll love it when you get to go. :)
