Holiday Tour of Our Home

I've been busy decorating for Christmas this past week! :) The inside of the house is pretty much done. We bought a real tree and I made the tree skirt out of clearance fleece from Wal-mart.
Here is my new table centerpiece. I bought the sleigh at a thrift store and the rest with a Hobby Lobby gift card for 50% off.
This is our new "entry" table. I love the Christmas book basket. Everything here, except two of the books, is from the thrift store. I really love the choir girl because she reminds me of the fifties.
I bought this sign at the Salvation Army for $2 which, at the time I thought was way too high. Ha I'm so cheap.
I added berry swags to the fireplace also from Hobby Lobby for 50% off.
I changed my couch pillows which I've found to be an inexpensive way to "redecorate." The solid one is from our guest room and the plaid one is from (guess where?) the thrift store! :)
Here is my new kitchen island centerpiece. The coffee mugs are from (a shocker) the thrift store and the flowers and candle I got for my birthday.
Lastly, here are my angels and church that
I got from Hobby Lobby for 80% off.

I hope you've enjoyed the tour!  Happy Decorating!

  2. No shame in the thrift stores. I tell people that my decor is Salvae (my "fancy" term for Salvation Army-coined from the h.s. & college girls I have mentored). Cute holiday touches; well done!
