Harp's is having a really good sale this week. A lot of their items are 10/$10 so I stocked up on some baking essentials for the holiday season. Plus they double coupons up to $1 so yay! I had to guesstimate on the regular prices because I didn't look, but I based my figures on Aldi and Wal-Mart's regular prices. I got $34 worth of groceries for $17.64 which is a savings of 52%! Here's what I got:
1 - 4lb Sugar - on sale $2.50
used .50 MQ coupon which doubled = $1.50
3 - Eggo Breakfast Items - on sale $1.98
used .50 off MQ which doubled = $1.65 ea.
6 - Cans Cream Mushroom Soup - on sale. .80
used 2 - .40 off MQs which doubled = .53 ea.
1 - Crest Toothpaste - on sale $1
used .50 off MQ coupon which doubled = FREE
3 - Cans Pumpkin - on sale $1 ea.
2 - 5lb flour - on sale $1 ea.
2 - 2lb brown sugar - on sale $1 ea.
1 - 2 lb powdered sugar - on sale $1 ea.
Have you found any good deals this week?
Great deals...unfortunately, coupons don't work here in Canada.
ReplyDeleteI just posted about this kind of thing. I a good deal on potatoes and carrots this week...so I bought 150lb potatoes...and 25 pounds of carrots.
Yes I read your post. Stocking up when it's on sale is the best way to save money without coupons!
